(LawyerMommy, 2009-12-04) With the mix of real babies and a cute silly cartoon monkey my 17-month-old son laughs at, the Happy Signs Day AND the Happy Signs Night DVDs were a huge hit at our house. He's not a fan of cartoons at all...he prefers to see real babies and children...but for whatever reason, the clips of the cartoon monkey in these DVDs appeals to him. Other good suggestions for shows for babies in between 12 months and 18 months of age...Signing Times dvds, Baby Bumblebee dvds, Fisher Price Nature Baby, Fisher Price Musical Baby, Praise Baby Lullabye, Baby Road Trip dvds, and Curious Buddies at the Beach. All good ones for kids who like to see other babies and kids in their dvds.

(Soon2BMom, 2009-04-10) Baby really enjoys this one and has learned to sign hat from two viewings. I think because of the cartoon characters and the amount of repetition not found in other sign videos the happy signs is a series i would purchase more of. FYI The sign for drink in this video is slightly different than in other videos we have.

(Christopher Scheithauer, 2008-12-06) The dvd is a little short for the money spent. The information that is on the dvd is fine,it just could be longer and contain more sign language. ! Our child seems to like the DVD.

(JMD, 2008-12-03) My son loves this video - he is 18 months old and still interested in it. For the parents watching it, it can seem very bizarre indeed, but for some reason, that little monkey and all the little kids hold my son's attention. It covers most of the signs one needs to communicate with a toddler.

(N. Hlibichuk, 2008-09-24) I AM DEAF/HEARING IMPAIRED MOTHER OF TWIN BOYS 18 MONTHS(HEARING) THE VIDEO SEEMS TOO LONG FOR ONE WORDS AT A TIME I KINDA GREW IMPAITENT AND MY BOYS DOESNT SIT STILL WATCHING IT. THEY ARE OTHER DVD I LOVE IS My Baby Can Talk - First Signs. THEY LEARNED FOUR SIGNS IN ONE DAY.... AWESOME!
