(R. J. Gonzalez, 2009-11-24) Not much to say about this classic. This is simply the best this film has ever looked on home video. The color and sharpness are outstanding, and the studio has resisted the temptation to brighten the Technicolor... It is lush! The sound is the best it has ever been, too. I am not sure the additional discs are worth the price of the SPECIAL EDITION. It you just want the movie, get this! You will not be disappointed! Still, remember this is from 1939.
