(D. Colquitt, 2009-10-27) I Love it!! Keeps you moving, time actually goes by quickly. Tony does a really good job getting me through the tough spots. I like his concept of how he changes things up and it keeps your attention. This is really a tough workout and I do not reccomend to someone who has just decided to start excerising. They may not stick with the program if they can't do most of the excerises. I think this program is for someone who has been excerising and wants to ramp up their excerise program.

(The Goved One, 2009-10-23) Preface: you can do ANY fitness program's workouts well and then blow all your gains by eating poorly. Secondly, if you do something half-ass, that's the results you're almost ceratinly going to get. My wife and I bought the program from the P90X website to avoid outside vendor problems. The only issue so far is that DVD 1 rattles a bit in our DVD player (hence 4 stars and not 5). You don't have to be in great shape to do the program, but the routines are not easy. Not to mention you have to actually do them. It takes us about 1.5 hours per day. Now, any good program you spend 1.5 hours per day on will likley give you positive results, but with this program all the info is provided to you- spoon feeding is our cup of tea. For roughly $150, it's worth it to us. We did throw down extra dough for a chin-up bar, weights, mats and some other goodies, but this is optional. We use a small area rug in our living room for both of us (about 6' by 10') and have found this adequate- modifications can be made. The diet suggested can also me modified using common sense. Regarding Horton's personality, we think the man's ok. We don't find him annoying or a jerk as some do. I figure as long as we stick to it and don't eat at the trough, we'll get some oustanding results. You can supplement or not- your choice. All things considered, you get what you pay for. Could you find a better program for you? Possibly. Could you do a lot worse? Absolutely. You cannot please everybody. But for us...we're happy campers. Sore, but happy. So, put down that pint of ice cream and get some exercise.

(Robert Capalvo, 2009-10-21) I was a Division 1 football player in High School and had i known about this program and did it i would be playing in the NFL right now. The fact is this pogram works but if your not in shape it will destroy you. It is a program that bases itself on confusing your muscles so they constantly keep getting in better shape. Currently, I've ran 3 marathons in the past 3 years and I'll tell you week 1 of this program. It has made every muscle in my body sore as hell. Long story short if you CAN do it, you will be in the best shape of your life before it's over. If you aren't a decent athlete don't bother because your wasting your money. The trainer encourages breaks and you will need them just don't get discouraged in the begining keep moving. Tony is a great trainer and you get the full package with this program just be ready for it.

(C. Wu, 2009-10-20) I just finished my first week doing the "Lean" program and i must say it isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. The Core Synergistics, Plyo and any DVDs involving weightlifting are hard (because I have terrible upper body strength) but the Kenpo X is way too easy for me. I also wonder why they don't incorporate Plyo in the "Lean" program. I skipped the Cardio X and replaced it with Plyo because I want to be able to sweat more. Yoga X is pretty hard too, but it is doable. I am sore, but I'm not as sore as I thought I was going to be. I worked out almost everyday before I got P90x so maybe my body is use to doing these moves. While doing the moves, it does burn but once the workout is over I recover quite fast. It feels as though I didn't get a very good workout. Hopefully this feeling will change, it is only the first week. Anyway, I hope this works because I feel as though I don't sweat as much as I need to. Despite my feelings right now, this product is still the most intense home workout system on the market. Tony moves quickly through the circuits and talks very little in between sets (thank God!)

(C. Cheney, 2009-10-18) P90x Extreme Home Fitness with Tony Horton - Set of 13 Dvds If you are looking for an advanced fitness program this is it. You already have to be in shape to use it. They have a fitness test to see if you are ready for P90X. If you follow the workout schedule and diet you will see results. Workout times run in the 1 to 1 1/2 hour range so make sure you have the time in your schedule.
