Trick 'r Treat Cusomter reviews:

Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 123

(G. Pitcher, 2009-10-17) 2009 was a great year for horror. The horror genre finally produced a variety of films. Paranormal Activity, The Orphan, Drag Me To Hell and Trick 'r Treat are all very different in a fun way. The horror genre hasn't seen a more well-rounded year in a long time. Trick 'r Treat is hands down the best film of the genre this year. It matches a creative screenplay with brilliant production and execution. Trick 'r Treat may lack the extensive suspense that Paranormal Activity possesses but it incorporates a little bit of everything else that makes the horror genre fun. Trick 'r Treat is a must see for horror fans and film fans. I have not seen a more well-rounded horror film in a long time.

(Thomas P. Hirko, 2009-10-17) Satan's Little Helper is the movie Im writing about. Released a couple of years ago, it is a homage to a 10 yr old boys vision . Scary, spooky and one continuous story, very creepy and darkly funny. Check it out, for some serious scares!

(S. Littler, 2009-10-16) This movie is a fun and creepy movie that will become a staple to watch over and over each halloween. It has (and will)stir up a cult following in the same fashion of a Christmas Story. The now classic christmas movie did not do well in the theaters when first released, but now has become a beloved Christmas tradition. I think the same will happen with Trick 'r Treat for a halloween tradition. Do we really need Saw XXV or another lame remake of a classic? I am fed up with movie studios and executives lack of imagination, green lighting remake after remake. I don't know what they were thinking (although thrers alot of speculation online) when this was not released in the theaters. Is this the best horror movie ever? No, but it is better than 90% of the genre out there. Finally on a technical note, the Blu-ray looks great and it has more extra features and additional scenes than the dvd release. I highly recommend it.

(John Andrew Martin, 2009-10-16) trick r treat is a good movie. but not the greatest halloween movie ever. i read one review where the person said that it has replaced john carpenter's halloween as the go to halloween movie. trick r treat in my opinion doesn't even come close to halloween. it was good but this movie didn't scare me i don't think i even jumped once. halloween scared the heck out of me as a kid and trick r treat wouldn't have even come close. in my opinion here are some go to halloween movies to watch 1.halloween(the original) 2. the exorcist 3. the thing 4. friday the 13th 5. the omen 6.the amityville horror 7. carrie. just my opinion

(rgille2, 2009-10-16) Stupid movie, and it won't keep you up at night. In fact it will probably put you to sleep. If you want to see a thriller, watch a movie called The Strangers instead.
