(C. Franks, 2009-09-24) This has to be the greatest hockey movie ever. The acting by Strother Martin and Paul Newman is very good. This DVD adds the commentary of the 'Hanson brothers'. It's adult only content so watch it first before you decide if it is appropriate for your kids. If you have played hockey back in the 'old days' or know someone who has, this is truly a great movie.

Wow, was I disappointed. I didn't expect technically good hockey playing, I know it's a comedy, but to me it really wasn't funny either. Maybe 25 years ago, when I was in my twenties, I might have laughed.

(L. Zarate-Pettite, 2009-06-23) Every review considers this a 'hockey movie', but this is a very funny movie regardless of what sport is used. Newman is terrific. I have never watched a hockey game or have been a Paul Newman fan but this movie really clikcked with me and my friends.
