(Anonymous, 2009-10-11) I love this movie! I actually saw this when it was first released in the U.K and haven't seen it since then. Every issue explored in the movie at the time is still relevant today, maybe the race and colour of skin is different but people are still being displaced and marginalised, nothing much has really changed, sad to say.A terrifically controversial movie in it's day and today.A classic.

(Spyderblonde, 2009-09-12) We had recently heard the song "One Tin Soldier" while riding in the car with our young adult children. That brought up the Billy Jack subject so we turned to Amazon to see if we could get the DVD. As usual, Amazon did not disappoint us. Our children did find the movie interesting and it prompted dialog about movies then and now. It was definitely worth a view for us and we will watch it again when we have 'our generation' friends over.

(Jason Pumphrey, 2009-08-21) I'm so glad that Image Entertainment is releasing "Billy Jack" on Blu-ray. This is an all-time classic. I will be picking this up come release day! Hopefully if this sells good they will release a multi disc Blu-ray set with all 4 BJ films, until then will have this great Blu-ray to enjoy!

(G. Stanford, 2009-08-16) I don't like to post reviews on products that have not been released but a mental midget already gave this a one star rating because he believes it's the dumbest movie ever. Saw this in the theater when it was re-released in 1973, for me and my friends all 11-12 year olds this movie was awesome, in fact we all took up Karate after this movie came out. Between this movie and the late great David Carradine on TV on Kung Fu, they became superheroes to us. The movie will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p AVC, accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. No information regarding special features for this edition is available for now. 'Billy Jack' was the second in a series of four movies starring the eponymous half-Indian, half-white, ex-Green Beret anti-establishment antihero, who uses his karate skills to fight injustice and oppression. This is being released by Image Entertainment so I can only hope they do it right. Let's hope they release all the Billy Jack films on Blu.
